John Mooney, President
John Mooney is President of TruPharma, and takes the lead on our business development and strategic initiatives.
Prior to starting TruPharma with JB Davis, John was Executive Vice President of Anchen Pharmaceuticals from 2007-2011. He had primary responsibility for Anchen’s day-to-day operations with all functional areas reported directly to him, including Product Development, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Finance, and Sales & Marketing. He also oversaw all legal matters for Anchen, including more than fifteen paragraph IV patent challenges. He served as a corporate officer and member of Anchen’s Board of Directors.
Prior to Anchen, John was a partner with the law firm of Winston & Strawn, LLP, concentrating his practice in complex commercial litigation, with an emphasis on patent litigation. Over his twelve years at Winston & Strawn, he represented numerous pharmaceutical companies and other clients in connection with patent litigation, unfair competition claims, and regulatory matters.
